Site Superintendent Entry Level / Internship
PBC Construction Group is looking for a full-time Commercial Construction Superintendent Intern.

Job Summary
The Site Superintendent plays a critical role in the success of every PBC project. This position is responsible for day-to-day jobsite leadership, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality execution in the field.
For interns and early-career candidates, this role offers hands-on exposure to real projects with progressive responsibility, mentorship from experienced superintendents and project managers, and a clear path toward long-term career growth in construction management.
Construction Superintendent Job Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Coordination
Support or lead daily jobsite operations depending on experience level
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners
Help implement and maintain project schedules
Monitor manpower, sequencing, and site logistics
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Promote and enforce jobsite safety and OSHA standards
Assist with inspections and quality control at key phases
Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and codes
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
Project Execution & Communication
Assist with material ordering, deliveries, and equipment coordination
Maintain daily reports, photos, and jobsite documentation
Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to Project Managers
Help resolve field issues as they arise
Learning & Growth (Intern Focus)
Work alongside experienced superintendents in the field
Learn how commercial projects are planned, executed, and closed out
Gain exposure to scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and inspections
Take on increasing responsibility as skills and confidence grow
Construction Superintendent Qualifications and Skills:
For Interns / Entry-Level Candidates
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field
Strong interest in a career in commercial construction
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
Ability to communicate clearly and work well with field teams

Ability to read and understand construction documents
Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
Comfortable working in a fast-paced jobsite environment
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
