Marketing Intern

PBC Construction Group is looking for a Marketing Intern.

PBC Construction Group is a commercial construction firm providing general contracting, development, and owner’s representative services throughout the Midwest. With over 40 years of experience, we’ve built our reputation on delivering high-quality projects, strong relationships, and consistent results.

Our work includes retail, restaurant (QSR), light industrial, healthcare, institutional, and site development projects. We operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where team members are exposed to the full lifecycle of a project—from early pricing through final closeout.

Job Summary

This is a hands-on marketing internship where you’ll help develop and execute real marketing initiatives for a growing commercial construction company. You’ll work directly with company leadership to shape our professional brand—especially on LinkedIn—and help tell the story of our projects, people, and culture.

Marketing Intern Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and launch an annual marketing & social media plan

  • Create and schedule LinkedIn content highlighting projects, milestones, and company culture

  • Build and maintain a content calendar

  • Assist with professional marketing materials, including:

    • Company brochures, capability statements & project highlight sheets

    • Recruiting and culture-focused materials

  • Write and format a company newsletter

  • Track engagement metrics and summarize performance

  • Travel to job sites (expenses covered) to capture photos and content (Primarily Indiana; occasional KY, OH, IL, TN)

Marketing Intern Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Interest in construction, real estate, or professional services

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional social platforms

  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools (Adobe a plus)

  • Organized, motivated, and comfortable working independently
